Cleish and Fossoway Joint Choir

The Choir was started in the mid-90s, initially directed by David Roulston. In 2005 the direction passed to Jenny MacLeod who is still the conductor.
For many years the Choir enjoyed presenting a choral concert at the end of October, with works such as Mendelssohn’s ‘Elijah’ and Handel’s ‘Samson’ with guest soloists. In recent years numbers have diminished but this has not reduced the enthusiasm of the members. We have a varied repertoire and in recent years have taken part in the local Choirs Festival in November.
In present circumstances of the pandemic, our activity is at a standstill but we look forward very much to singing together again as soon as possible, and will welcome any singers, men and women, who would like to join us.
